Native to (Ghana) West Africa, Ghanaian Black Soap is all-natural, and made from plantain skins, cocoa pods, palm kernel oil, and shea butter.  Known for its ability to soothe and heal skin conditions, such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis, this soap has been used for centuries. Ghanaian Black Soap is free from harsh chemicals and is considered to be a more natural and eco-friendly alternative to conventional soaps.

This bar contains kojic acid, a skin-lightening ingredient; can be used for the face and/or body.

Instructions for face: Using clean hands, apply a pea size amount of soap paste to wet hands. Rub into hand/palm to create a lather. Apply to face, using circular motions. Add more water to increase the lather. Leave on face 1-2 minutes and rinse well. Follow up with a toner, moisturizer, and sunscreen (during the day).  May be repeated twice a day.
